The second time we are lining up for Powell's first collegiate FG attempt and again Jones inexplicably calls a time out. We trot out the offense and convert again.
Say what you will about where we are as a program but the confidence CJM showed on the 4th downs last night will go a long way for the psyche of this offense.
There was another instance where Jones declined a first down penalty when we were on the 6 yard line and gave us 2 and 6 or 7 and we end up getting the first down. I don't remember if we scored but it at least flipped the field. What a bone head, sort of fitting that he celebrated the miss.
