I guess I struggle believing simple pure political hatred is worth it for these companies.
The Dems practice race and identity politics. Other than over rating their own self worth they have no values.
I think some of these companies are cutting off their noses to spite their faces with this virtue signaling bullshit. The market place is going to slap them in the face.
I'm hoping that they have over played their hand and there is a backlash that will level the playing field. But justice and Karma are not the same as it use to be so I'm not sure how this will play out..

They will be taken care of, just like Newsom is taken care of when he runs all the working conservatives out of the state, crippling the economy.
Money always flows back in from DC to replace what is lost. As long as the money is lost in the process of suppressing conservative thought, they will be compensated.
This is an interesting question, the only values I've ever heard them talk about is killing babies. They can talk all day about what they don't like about Trump, but that's just parroting what the media has told them to say.
None of them can make the case for why they vote democratic. I think that's telling.
BTW let's remember that under obama, he placed massive billion dollar fines on businesses that didn't run themselves the way he saw fit.
Then he offered them a chance to reduce the fine to one million, if they would make that payment in the form of a contribution to a cause that the left supported, like planned parenthood. Wealth redistribution, and it was immediately ended under Trump. Hiden would no doubt start it back up immediately.
Two separate statements.
1) Losses by big tech.
2) Estimation of Trump's market value.
It's not hard, try to keep up. There wasn't even insinuation of correlation.
("insinuation" means they didn't subtly attempt to correlate the two other than the statements were in proximity)

We all knew that would trigger certain posters here who cannot give Trump any credit. We all saw it coming a mile off.

Did Trumps market value increase by that same amount? A destruction in value on one hand doesn’t equate to the market value of another. It’s not a zero sum game.
Now if you want to say that these SN’s censorship policies may have destroyed part of their economic value, then I can buy that. Especially if it results in increased competition. But the market is volatile, and can easily reverse course tomorrow. And the decline may be due not to censorship, but to potential lawsuits or Congressional action. Many are blaming Facebook for allowing the siege on the Capitol.
I’ll see what the analysts are saying. They tend to know more than internet memes.
Trump MADE Twatter. Prior to 2019, they were losing their asses monetarily. They are losing users in droves, they don't have to ban them. Rush Limbaugh gave them a big "phuck you" and deleted his account. Start pissing off half of your membership is a recipe for bankruptcy. That's not only snowflakish, it corporate suicide. Only a dunce can't see the writing on the wall. Good riddance.

They claim 70k "Q" accounts and it's a lie on both accounts.
Many large twitter handles have dropped more than 70k, and the people I was following that are now gone had zero to do with "Q". Most were reporters, media and RW pundits.
They are using it as cover to silence any dissent. They couldn't care less about "Q" because it's a bunch of BS...and it's certainly not violent (at least what I've seen).
Twitter has never understood how to monetize because they have always been run by some project geeks that know code and have no idea how to make money. And since they are libs living in SV, they really don't care about making money. They wanted it to be a broadcast platform from launch, when its users wanted to use it as a conversational tool.
Trump brought a massive amount of eyeballs to the platform and MSM couldn't help buy promote his every tweet. Now that Trump is gone, the establishment will keep them propped up till the users leave, then the checks will stop.
So the first time I heard of a 'twitter purge' was a couple years ago. I honestly thought it was BS. I saw some people saying it was targeted, others said it was bots. Since bots are a very real problem on Twitter, I assumed that's all it was, and dismissed.
A few months later, it happened again. Again, thinking it's probably mostly bots. Ok maybe a few 'live' accounts got caught up, but that happens.
Then it happened again, and again. I started to notice some accounts that I followed loosely were zapped. That's when I realized it was actual censorship taking place.
Dems are trying to push conservatives to Gab and Parler, then kill the sites there. But as usual, they overplayed their hand. They should have waited and let everyone get set there, and disconnected from Twitter and FB, THEN close shop.
Dems see this as best-case scenario, Twitter and FB survives, but conservatives are off the platforms.
Worst-case scenario, Twitter and FB survive, but over time enough people leave that it's not worth the money to keep them propped up, and they die too. So effectively all social media is gone. Dems see that as a win too, just go back to MSM for info, and that's solidly in the back pocket of the establishment.
The Ayatollah still has an account right? China lying about Uyghur concentration camps is still on Twitter? ANTIFA accounts still going strong? Nkurunziza has an account. Maduro has an account. But those Hannity followers.. that’s the real threat.
