I was on deck for the portion of Florida's Tuesday afternoon practice that was open to the media and lasted three periods. Here are some observations from what I saw:
--Jordan Cronkrite is back with the team. The sophomore running back, who wasn't with the team in meetings or practices last week and did not make the trip to Jacksonville for the Georgia game, walked in with the group Tuesday. ITG has learned that Cronkrite has expressed to the team that he wants to at least finish out the 2016 season at UF, and he wants to see where things stand from there. He began practicing again with the team on Monday.
--Redshirt junior running back Mark Thompson, who was suspended against Georgia because of a citation for marijuana possession, was also back at practice Tuesday.
--All of the injured Gators who played in Saturday's game (LB Jarrad Davis, DE Bryan Cox Jr., DE Jordan Sherit, NT Joey Ivie, TE DeAndre Goolsby) were in attendance Tuesday. However, their backups received the 1st-team reps in 11-on-11 fastball.
--The first-teamers in fastball:
QB - Del Rio (who is still practicing with a brace on his left knee)
RB - Scarlett
WR Callaway
WR (slot) - Powell
WR - Cleveland
TE - Lewis
LT - Sharpe
LG - Ivey
C - Dillard
RG - Jordan
RT - Taylor
DE - Jefferson
NT - Clark
DT - Brantley
DE - Zuniga
LB - Anzalone
LB - Reese
CB - Tabor
CB - Wilson
NB - Dawson
S - Maye
S - Harris
--One of the most memorable plays of fastball saw LB Alex Anzalone pick off QB Luke Del Rio on a short route, much to the happiness of DC Geoff Collins.
--Meanwhile, QB Austin Appleby and RB Lamical Perine worked with the 2's in fastball.
--Steve Spurrier was once again in attendance for Tuesday's sunny practice on the Sanders Football Practice Fields.
