Trump vs Kamala 2024

Never thought I’d see the day McConnel was praised by Democrats LOL and here we’ve been listening to it since Dec-Jan. McConnell has been a lightning rod within the Republican Party for years, hated and loved by his party. Personally I think he’s a sellout that only acts when absolutely necessary during campaign season.
I never saw any democrat praise McConnell anywhere. I barely see Republicans praising him lately.

How do you think Trump determined who to nominate? Where did he get those names from? They were provided to him by Leonard Leo, the president of the Federalist Society, and rammed through by McConnell. Guess who else is a member of the Federalist Society? Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Comey-Barrett.

McConnell held his nose and used Trump to “transform the judiciary.” That’s been his priority forever.
It's known that the republican president doesn't pick his/her Supreme Court nominee. He/She is told whom to pick from.
Done in DC?

Maybe they are done in Trumpy congressional districts. In most statewide elections, aside from ruby-red states, they are probably better off.

Notice how loyalty to Trump is more important to you than keeping a “dem” out of office. That’s impressive coming from a guy who thinks democrats are literally evil and hate America.
Some people on here judge every candidate by how they treated Trump. Is there anyone that they like that dislike Trump? Hence the Trump Cult.

Trump is the only President that's had a backbone in many a year. The GOP is a bunch of pussies collectively. They run and hide, hem and haw when it comes to brass tacks. Trump didn't GAF what the Dimtards said, wished, or cried about. Damn right Trump has a loyal following if for no other reason.

Correct. The ORIGINAL Captain Sobels.
Do you know how old he is because I wonder this? Estimating that the holocaust happened 1940 +/-; that is 81 years ago and if he was say 20 years old when he went thru the holocaust then that makes him 101 years old today. That would make him remarkable to still be going strong at approximately 100 years old or more. Is it possible that the person running the Soros empire today is actually the son or heir of his fortune?

I think he's in his 90's. He was a teen when he was selling his fellow Jews out as an informant during Hitler's reign.

If you think about it, don't most people running for political office do the same thing.
Trump said he would do it, then he did it. And when he got to DC, he told Republicans they were gonna have to get to work too.

Big reason why entire town was united in wanting to get rid of him. We can't have politicians going to DC and being expected to actually fulfill their campaign promises!

I voted for Trump but I’ve moved on. And I think when we take back the House and Senate in ‘22 most Republicans will.
I hope I’m not wrong.
Moved on, as in back to the way things were before Trump?

Back to the Republican party being Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney?

If you think the people that voted for Trump will 'move on' and 'move backwards' back to embracing establishment pubs, then you have no idea why Trump won in the first place.

If we run America First candidates in 2022, they win easily.

If we run establishment pubs like we did before Trump, they will get their asses handed to them.

I am done voting for establishment pubs. Put America First, or I stay at home. Simple as that.

I dont think this is true. I think Trump and Biden were very honest about who they were. They both pander when they had to but they didn't do or say anything to win. I feel the same about Obama too.

Honest question: Do you really think most of the people that voted for Trump will think "Ok we tried that, didn't work, back to Jeb/Marco/Mittens if we want to win in 2022"?

Do you REALLY think 100M Trump voters are just gonna act like the last 4 years never happened and go back to happily supporting RINOs like we did prior to that?

Is that your plan?

Spooky dear, I never said that. Do not rile me up. We have always gotten along well and you don’t want to poke this Mama Bear.
I’m going to be all in on Governor DeSantis. DJT will be too old in 2024. He got things started but Ron is the right age and has experience with governing. He’s also a lot sharper in dealing with the acolyte press who are part of the DNC machine.
This country needs him.
If y’all are going to dwell on the past you will never be ready to own the future.
Cold clear eyed facts.

That's why I asked you to clarify what you were saying, You seemed to be saying then, and now, that Trump is done and we need to move on.

If that's the way you feel then I don't know how you support DeSantis. Trump MADE DeSantis. His opponent was so far ahead of him that DeSantis was given almost zero chance to win.

Then Trump swooped in, said DeSantis was his guy, and suddnely Ron gained like 30 points in the polls, and eventually won.

And here's a reality check: If DeSantis decides to go establishment and distance himself from the America First policies that have served him so well so far, his political future is done as well.

Again, all winning republican candidates from this point forward will support the same America First policies that Trump did.

There is no moving on from Trump. Trump IS the republican party now. Whether he runs in 2024 or not.

If the republican party moves on from Trump and goes back to Jeb, Marco and Mittens, they deserve the ass beating they will get early and often at the ballot box in 2022!

Again, that's your opinion. You're entitled to it. I see it differently.
Don't offer your opinion as fact and try to bully anyone who has a different viewpoint. At some point you'll need to see things as they are, not how they were. And realize that the CRITICAL mission is to REMOVE THE DEMS FROM POWER.

The Vegetable and the KneeKnocker must go. And the doddering old hag from Frisco must have the gavel removed from her wizened old hands. The New Yawk whiny bitch in the Senate whose only talent is talking simultaneously out of both sides of his mouth while spewing lies must be chased back to New Yawk. The idea that our legislative chambers are led by two jackasses from the two most left wing states should scare the other 48 states to death.

Ron De Santis was not made by Trump. He'd laugh at that characterization. That's a wishful naive thought put forth by the ever dwindling group of loyalists who are not being helpful to the conservative cause at this point. I voted twice for Trump, but I accept that it's dangerous to keep reading from the same page. He's changed the party which I appreciate, but its DeSantis who gives it the best chance for America going forward.
Get on the RDS bus or get left behind after 2022. 🇺🇸

And who said the previously mentioned folks are the ones waiting in the wings to take over the party? Mittens? Jeb? Seriously? What century/decade are you in?

You still haven't given your viewpoint. Only that you want to move on from Trump. No shit, you always have.

Ron DeSantis had zero chance of winning till Trump endorsed him. If you want, I can dig up the polls, anyone who followed the Gov race knows it was Gullum's to lose till Trump got involved. That's why he backed DeSantis, so he could win.

You're welcome.

DeSantis is an America First candidate running on the policies Trump championed.

I like that. You saying we need to move on from Trump reads as we need to move on from America First policies and go back to what we had before.

Which was pubs that the media tore apart, then they went back to the Senate and voted with the dems.

As long as we keep running candidates like DeSantis that are in line with the America First policies that Trump championed, we will continue to win.

If we move on from Trump and his policies, we will go back to losing. Simple as that.

And again, I've voted for my last establishment republican. If you want my vote from now on you have to be America First. No more voting for the guy with the R next to his name just cause I dont want the one with the D next to their name in office.

Removing the dems from power and replacing them with establishment pubs solves nothing. You're just getting rid of the guy that admits he's a dem, and replacing him with a RINO.

That's sideways thinking at best.

The future of the republican party is America First. It is MAGA. We've have a taste of what it's like to nominate a republican who will fight for and share our values, and we like it.

You can do what you want, but I ain't moving on from this. This is my hill to die on.

No that is not what I'm saying and you should be able to glean that from my post - if you wanted to, that is.

No clue why you quoted my posts and highlighted random words.

If the Republican party was moving on from Trump, then DeSantis wouldn't be the frontrunner for President in 2024 if Trump doesn't run.

Nikki Haley would be, or some other establishment hack.

You say you want to move on from Trump, then say you are all in on DeSantis.

Okayyyyyyy. That's fine. But moving on from Trump means moving on from DeSantis.

I love DeSantis. So do most Trump supporters. Because so far, Ron is championing the same America First policies that Trump ran on.

Who are the hottest names in the republican party right now?

Ron DeSantis
Lauren Boebert
Marjorie Taylor Greene
Josh Hawley
Matt Gaetz
Krist Noem

What do they all have in common? They have all endorsed the same America First policies that Trump does. Now I think Hawley is just being an opportunist, but the others appear to be legit.

If you want to move on from Trump, fine. But if the party moves on from the America First policies that he championed, they are done.

Your new fav Ron DeSantis understands that. It's a big reason why I like him too.

"we need to move on from Trump" is not going to resonate with his supporters.

Any candidate that says that is done. We can revisit this post in the future if any of them are dumb enough to do it.

I will say that I agree with you. Trump views/ideas/policies have lost the house, senate and WH in 4 years. The 1st president since Hoover? That's embarrassing and shows that he isn't that popular outside of the republican party. You can't win with just republican votes, unless you have low turnout with democrats and independents. I think you understand that. The Trumpers never will.

obama's policies lost the dems the House in 2010, the Senate in 2014, and the WH in 2016.

I’m sure it’s not going to resonate with his supporters. But that pool is shrinking despite what you believe. If you’re the last guy in the room be sure to turn off the lights.
And if you drop out and refuse to vote in the future then for sure this country will fall to one party rule. But at least you all will have cut off your noses to spite your face. You’ll be easy to spot.

Honey we've been there for a while:

Bush vs Gore
Bush vs Kerry
obama vs mccain
obama vs Mittens

If that's what you think a two-party system looks like then......bless your heart.

Wait, Liz Cheney is on this board?
I mean, the biggest thing Trump did the last 4 years was to pull back the curtain on the idea that we are a two party system in this country.

I mean you have the Bushes being amazing friends with the Clintons. You have Dubya and Michelle literally giggling and snuggling like teens in the back row of a movie theater.

These clowns are all part of the same club. They all laugh at us.

Trump ran against 16 establishment pubs, and he won. If any of the other establishment pubs had won, it wouldn't have mattered if they or Hillary had won, the Establishment would be in power.

Just like they were in 2012.

And 2008.
And 2004.
And 2000.
And 1996.
And 1992.

What happened in 1984 and 1988? Oh that's right, the outsider won, and they tried to assassinate that guy.

Huh.

Careful. We're almost always on the same side of the aisle. Unless you want that to change, and get on my bad side, play nice.

Are you new here? I really don't have a problem arguing with anyone here.

Republicans being willing to vote for any nominee with an R next to their name is how we keep getting establishment hacks like the Bushes, mccain and mittens.

And the cold, hard reality is, eventually the establishment clowns are gonna start in on DeSantis. They are leaving him alone for now, but the second he announces he is running for any office higher than his current one, the hacks will come running out of the woodwork telling him to tone it down, he needs to be more willing to compromise, etc etc.

"Be less like Trump".

And right on cue, I suspect we will hear from some republicans that he needs to get in line and get on the team.

We keep getting establishment hacks because we don't demand better. I have voted for my last hack just because I want to prevent the dems from getting their hack in.

The problem with being in a circle jerk is that unless you change some of the jerks in the circle from time to time, you end up with an echo chamber instead.
ALWAYS know what the other circles are doing...or what they're jerking off to...and know when it's time to change. 😉
We can revisit in November of 2022 and see what the record is for the republican candidates that don't support Trump, versus the ones that did.

That should give us a good barometer of who's support is shrinking.
