I have the simple solution for this..and surprised no one has brought this up. You want the illegals out of here quickly? Pass a bill that penalizes any business for hiring an illegal...make it HURT. Then the reason they are here disappers, and you had better not stand in front of the north side of the border, because they would stampede BACK to where they came from...or some other place other than America
Law was passed in 1986 making it illegal to hire undocumented workers. Needless to say it is not rigorously enforced.
A big part of the problem has been republicans loving the cheap labor. They talk about border security, but they haven't really wanted it.
A bigger problem is liberal lawmakers not wanting to enforce laws and think illegal migrants are entitled to citizenship. This is proven every day with them providing housing, money, phones and sanctuary cities where these people know they are safe.
Now 24 liberal state attorney generals across the US vow to block deportation efforts.
If democrats really were against cheap labor they would not allow unfettered immigration which only drives wages down across all industries. More labor availability drives down wages.
Our southern border was secure in Trump's first administration and subsequently wages rose across all industries.

From 2003 to 2013 I owned 4 Firehouse Subs Restaurants. I followed the laws, I expoect everyone else to do the same- if not 1st offense a heavy $$ fine. 2nd offense jail time

No, you are wrong for singling them out. Everyone loves cheap labor. I know democrats in heavy union markets that hire non-union labor all the time. They just have them work after hours and on the weekends. How do I know this? I have been in commercial construction and development for over 25 years and have seen it first hand in Chicago, Cleveland, New Jersey, Philadelphia, etc. and other deep blue areas.
Go to any restaurant, hotel and see how many of those folks are speaking English. Know how the dems get around this? They pay off the unions and donate to the dem politicians. It's cheaper than hiring union workers. Nobody is exempt. It's wrong and needs to stop.
Republicans deserve to be singled out because they talk tough on illegal immigration but avoid doing anything about it.
It'll be interesting to see the effect on the economy if Trump is successful in largely deporting illegals. It could certainly drive already high prices up.

Illegal immigration puts enormous pressure on housing costs (rentals in particular), schools, police, public services and healthcare. We are already facing a shortage of healthcare workers (specifically nurses) nationwide. It will be a benefit to all for the immigration to be curbed and the illegal criminals to be deported.
Inflation during Trumps first term was always under 3% and sometimes under 2%. How did we fare under Biden? Don't know why prices would go back up astronomically like they did under the Biden/Harris debacle.
We absolutely need to slam the door on illegals. If we need workers, they need to be documented.
It’s causing even more challenges for schools because illegal children are attending and unable to speak or read English, malnourished and needing free lunches and breakfasts, carrying lice and other diseases (sad) unvaxxed, etc. and teachers are losing time for instruction because of it.

The five or six blue states that are putting laws in place to stop The Real POTUS from deporting illegals are the best answer yet. Round every single one up send them evenly divided to those blue areas of those states. Refuse any federal money for anything and everything not just illegals. These big blue cities will be begging to send them home in a few months. 🇺🇸
