9 years ago in Feb of 2016, I can promise you that I hated Trump more then than you do now. He was an asshole, he was an embarrassment to the party.

And the one thing I couldn't stand was how CNN said he was amazing. That's right, in those early days of his campaign, CNN said Trump was amazing, pubs needed to support him he had the best vision. I knew exactly what they were trying to do and hated it. They thought Trump would be a pushover for Hillary.

Then Trump won the nomination, and I had to choose between supporting Trump or Hillary. Hillary is a known con artist who has literally sold her nation out to our enemies, so I couldn't support her.

So I did something the average liberal would never do: I started doing my own research into Trump. I soon found out what his policy positions were. I then discovered the media and CNN had been lying about his positions.

Once I did my own research, I discovered that I actually liked Trump's platform. If I had done as you do and blindly believed what the media told me about Trump, I would still hate him to this day.

But that would be living a lie. I would rather know and live the truth. I think most sane people feel the same way.

Yep and it's a done deal already. Ukraine isn't getting that Donbass area back under their control. The globalist crooks gambled and lost with this mess. I am curious to see how this works out eventually. My guess is Russia won't allow any NATO country troops anywhere near that Donbass area. Reading these news articles its apparent these western European countries are still in fantasy land when it comes to the reality of the situation there.

Russia taking the Donbass area and having control there whether they claim they are autonomous or not. I think Ukraine is pissed because they realize Trump won't be letting the US go into more debt rebuilding western Ukraine. As far as on the ground Russia will probably just keep responding to whatever Ukraine does. Ukraine would be smart to stop pushing this. Ukraine is living in dreamland if they think NATO countries without the US will deploy there to fight against Russia with them. I still believe Russia (and Putin) is the biggest threat to both us and the Western world, and that won’t change until Russia gets rid of him. This is my number two issue, and one of the key reasons I’m against MAGA (though not against Republicans—I am one). Trump’s fascist tendencies and his push for oligarchies are seriously concerning.

By the way, my number one issue is the separation of church and state. Religion should have no influence on policy. I don't think religion needs to disappear to have a peaceful society—everyone should be free to practice their faith. But it should never infringe on my freedoms. That’s why I’m anti-MAGA, but not necessarily anti-Republican.

I totally get why Ukraine is such a big deal, but sending them arms instead of troops is the right call. Europe is not our enemy—they’re our allies. Sure, there are flaws in the relationships, but they’re crucial for preventing large-scale wars.

Sorry if my thoughts seem a little jumbled—I'm dealing with the worst flu ever.
