It’s silly to even compare the two QBs because TL was better in 8th grade than FF is now. TL could have easily thrown for 300 if the coaches weren’t so conservative. I really hope you guys aren’t trying to say FF’s performance against UM wasn’t as embarrassing based on the fact TL didn’t look like a hall of famer last night. If so... yikes

Franks is not as good as Lawrence but Franks did have a better first game than Lawrence. Franks had better stats and a better QB rating and played against a much better defense.

Just goes to show you not to put too much stock into Game #1.

Whose comparing?? Lawrence is most certainly better but Franks did have a better first game even though Franks was average himself. Just goes to show you why a first game or a 1 game sample size is meaningless.
