The team plays overall better with Lagway under center. I agree with SAD it would be stupid to get rid of the HC as he is building something huge.

I am seeing 2 great season come the next 2 years if Lagway stays for another 2 years. The defense is getting g better with each game which is a huge plus. He appears to have his head straight on his head vs Richardson who left early for $$. Lagway can break all kinds records but that's up to him and the HC.

Lagway can actually play QB and read things unlike Richardson. Next year will depend on them getting a few key pieces through the portal and whether Napier can stop screwing up so much.

Billy is not a championship coach. Period. DJ is going to get some wins despite the garbage we were still seeing yesterday at the end of year 3. But he will never play on a team that wins 11 or 12 games in the SEC.

I know enough after watching three seasons and seeing the same crap, yes. DJ is good enough to win some game despite Billy, but yes, it is blatantly clear, even last night, Billy is not an elite coach. And unlike Kirby, he is not in an era you can simply recruit titles.

We are trending in the right direction. 4 games in I wouldn’t had thought that I would have felt better about this team and coach at this point. I’m still skeptical and generally like about how Mich thinks. Go beat Ole Miss and I’ll be on board. Either way I can see us winning 9 games next year. We are a different team with DJ in the game. And haven’t the players he’s signed actually made it to the classroom? And it’s seems we are shedding some players with talent but not what you could call “team players.” Now I know some of you will point to his record and a few questionable calls but can you see the mess and culture he inherited?

He is a pretty limited coach imo but we will see if Lagway and some NIL portal moves can save us from his relatively weak SEC recruiting this last class and likely the upcoming class and most of all his in game decisions.

There is truth in what you say, but college football is a results driven industry. He has to win. Having success in tangential program areas shouldn’t be to the exclusion of winning.

There is truth in what you say, but college football is a results driven industry. He has to win. Having success in tangential program areas shouldn’t be to the exclusion of winning.

How long did it take Nick Saban to become a Championship coach? Really think about this. He didn't do much until he got to Alabama and how many teams was he with before this? Experience brings championships and he's getting experience under his belt and once he finds how to win he will stick with that like Saban did.

Everybody wants to fire fire fire Coaches these days without them being able TO BUILD. It takes years to learn how to win then more years to learn how to stay up there winning.

Last, Florida will be in bankruptcy having to pay off all the HCs they constantly keep firing, wake up. It becomes to easy to fire coaches these days but nobody thinks of the outcome later in.

I'm on team Michi about Napier. I do not believe for one minute he will do what's necessary to become a top coach. But we will find out next year as he's definitely back.

I’m not saying I totally endorse coach Napier but he’s had to undo 15 years of lack of discipline, laziness, weirdness, entitlement, recruiting wrong players, not recruiting and just plain mediocrity. I am tired of watching the same movie every 3 or 4 years. I will enjoy the obvious growth of this team in the face of adversity. Napier’s play calling has improved as well. There’s not a coach out there that doesn’t pull a boneheaded play now and then. Do you think Kiffin wouldn’t like to have those three FG’s instead of being stuffed on 4th down?
