Title Update: Media Lying About What Trump Said

People care about Peace/No Wars, lower Gas prices, lower Grocery prices, closing the border, stopping Fentanyl that’s killing Americans, standing strong as The Greatest Nation on The Planet, and keeping men out of women sports. Anyone that doesn’t understand that Trump isn’t a polished professional politician and talks to you as if he’s sitting around shooting the 💩Doesn’t understand what his movement is and what makes him popular to start with. He’s running because he loves his country plain and simple. What he said both times I 100% understood and agree with what he was saying. He’s not all of a sudden going to change the way he delivers his message. It only matters to the lying scheming democratic state run media. 🇺🇸

I WISH this we was true...if it were, it'd be a landslide, as @gator1776 mentions...unfortunately, TDS is a legitimate thing...one of my wife's friends came over the other week with her boyfriend - a smart guy, but extremely privileged, which coincidentally seems to be a common thing amongst those types....I should note that I used to work with this guy....after about an hour or so of conversation my wife goes in for the kill "So, {person} help us understand why you're voting for Kamala...like, I just really want to understand what's so appealing about her."

His response - after folding his hands together with his index fingers pointed upward and pushing into his upper lip - "I have a visceral reaction to Trump. I can't forgive him for Jan 6th and let's just call a spade a spade, it was treason."

Personally, I had a fairly violent reaction to that and called him out and said "I have a visceral reaction to Kamala, and I find it curious that you claim treason and you speak of violence - but this man has had 3 attempts on his life in the last 5 or 6 weeks. It is your side of America that is actually committing violence against those that disagree with them."

He responded with "Oh, you want to talk about violence - Charlottesville"

Me: "OK, he denounced that and it's not like he called for that. Your side is ACTIVELY saying he's a threat to democracy and saying things about putting a target on him. Not to mention all the BLM riots that did FAR more damage than Jan 6th (as despicable as that was) and was supported by your party - nobody denounced anything. In fact the VP candidate encouraged it in his home state. And let's not even get into the compliant media that called the riots 'peaceful protests', what a joke!"

Him "Trump IS a threat to democracy"

Me "I can't even have this conversation, your party literally subverted the constitution to install their preferred candidate without so much as a vote." Then I got up walked into my garage and ate a gummy bc I needed to calm the F down.

Yes, I have anger management issues...that's what the gummies are for 🤣

You knew here?

Here’s how this works.

Trump says something he knows they’ll take out of context and latch onto, like “9 rifles pointed at Liz Cheney”.

The MSM pounces in lockstep.

The people that hate him never get the context and say “see, he’s Hitler!”.

The people that don’t go find the whole clip and realize he’s call for LESS violence and war, not more. And their hate of the MSM grows.

People leaning Trump or considering Trump also find or hear the whole clip and hear something they like, a politician calling for less war.

This never has the intended effect.
This is EXACTLY correct....the man plays 3D chess and out maneuvers the media at nearly every step...

I didn't know Bautista left his wife after she was diagnosed with cancer. He looks a little AIDS infested himself without the roids.

Put yourself in their situation.......you willing to commit a crime and risk being deported for your one measly vote that won't change anything?

Everybody acts in their own self interest. If I am in their shoes I keep the lowest profile possible and don't even consider voting. Illegals on the voting roles are going to be one of the first targets. I am sure they want Harris, but they have risked everything to get here. Not worth it.
LOL - they committed a crime by coming into the country illegally (<<< key words right there) in the first place

Uh, ya, but you do see how that's completely different than voting.....don't you??????
Just to confirm I understand your point...based on your comments in this thread...

You're for strong borders, have been for 3-4 decades -- this is reasonable, as Clinton (the polygamist, not the pantsuit), stated in the 90's that you need strong borders to have a strong nation...

But your stance is that since they're here illegally, they shouldn't commit other crimes that would bring attention to themselves for fear of being deported? That is what you're saying correct? So, by this logic, drug dealers and petty criminals shouldn't vote either, as it would bring unwanted attention on them...not to mention the cartels, wouldn't want to draw any attention on themselves either...

I don't know you personally, but it seems like you're giving some of these ppl WAY too much credit...

So your telling me that if it was you .....and you risked everything to get here.....that you would now risk getting thrown back out of the country by voting when you know your single vote won't do a damn thing. There is just no upside to you voting in that situation and there is a massive downside. Which is why, imo, the data reflects that they don't vote very often.

No way in hell if it's me that I would vote. It would be flat out stupid for me to do so. I am just going to lay low and hope Trump lost.
Soooo, illegal immigrants wouldn't do anything to risk getting thrown out of the country like: committing murder, rape, robbery, illegal possession or sale of drugs or weapons, assault, etc. ?

You really think illegal immigrants are running the should I vote or not through their brain due to possibly hearing the word no?

Let's see, get caught for voting and those dreaded poll workers tell you no and you cannot vote, OR get caught committing sex offenses, robbery, rape, DUI, selling or using drugs, etc. and get arrested and deported and now you have a record.

Makes sense to me.

They just want to work.

Remember...these people are not America's brightest. This one is NOT bright at ALL

Well your certainly entitled to believe what you want but that just doesn't make sense IMO. Lifelong neo-conservative Republican is not going to turn their back on their party and their career because of an insult. The far more likely reason is what she said it was. That does make sense, IMO.
You really don’t know how things work inside the Beltway, do you?

These are true believers. True believers will accept anything even when it’s not true. January 6 was not treason. It was a protest that went too far. Played into the Democrats hands though because they’ve been able to cry about it for four years. Reality is a January 6 never happened. They would’ve found some other way to vilify Trump

He’s just another clueless, true believer. You and I think a lot alike about this. Trump may not have been our first choice, as I’m fine saying he’s not the hero we wanted, but he’s the hero we need. In some ways, he’s the greatest political character of my lifetime and other ways you just wanna pull them aside and say quiet, lol.

But he is the nominee and I am all in and praying to God that he wins. Why, because I love America.

Its actually worse.

Its devoid of logic.

Lets look at logic:
If Trump wins you get deported whether you voted illegally or not.
If Kamala wins you can stay. No one will investigate and hunt you down for that vote. Chance of someone living in the shadows, already, being caught or even tracked down for this is near zero.

Therefore there is no logical risk to voting.
