Keith and Thomas are at the Urban Meyer media opportunity:

* Urban Meyer said that though Ronald Powell and Dominique Easley missed some practice, everything is all good now and he didn't want to go into detail.

* Meyer called Sharrif Floyd a big leader among the freshmen.

* The top two projected left tackles will miss the first game. Xavier Nixon had his knee scoped and is out. Matt Patchan had a pin placed in his wrist and is out.

* They experiemented with Mike Pouncey at tackle, but he WILL NOT play there.

* Jordan Reed has a deep bruise.

* Jeremy Brown will start at either nickleback or the corner opposite Janoris Jenkins.

* Neiron Ball is the No. 6 linebacker.

* Dee Finley is up to 220-pounds and has been moved from the weakside to strongside linebacker.

* Meyer said he felt better about the team today than he did on Monday (when he said he was close to hitting the panic button). He said the players are starting to get their legs back.

* Duke Lemmens said that this has been the hardest training camp that he has been through as a Gator.

* Meyer said not much has changed with the defense under Teryl Austin. He said it is basically like they have four co-coordinators in the defensive meetings.

* Meyer said the offense will look a little different. They'll have some things in there that they didn't even have when Leak was the quarterback.

* Carl Moore missed practice due to a root canal.
