Coach Urban Meyer said after Thursday's practice that Carl Johnson will start at left guard in place of Jim Tartt, who is injured. Defensive tackles Brandon Antwine and Torrey Davis will make the trip. Few thought Antwine would play this season because of a serious back issue.
"He might get in the game Saturday," Meyer said. "He's on the travel squad. Torrey Davis is on the travel squad. That's a tribute to coach (Dan) McCarney. Brandon Antwine, that's a heck of a deal. The trainers are a little shocked, too. There's a chance he might get in the game."
Linebacker Ryan Stamper is questionable. Running back Emmanuel Moody and offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert are out. Meyer said wide receiver Carl Moore will be more involved in the offense.
Meyer on what kind of team will show up at Arkansas: "We're going to be ready. We had a great day today, it's usually a good indicator. 11:30, you start worrying about the schedule, worry about everything. We had a great day today. I'll worry about that tomorrow."
