As I reported earlier this week, I don't expect Marc Britt to sign with the Gators today. He is currently still in the class, but barring a major surprise, Ole Miss will be the choice this evening. In fact, I've been told all week he doesn't have an LOI from the University of Florida.
I checked with a few sources this morning and didn't heard anything different.
The Gators were hoping Britt would push his final decision back until April like Leonard Manuel did, but the Miami native didn't want to go in that direction and here we are today.
I'm told getting him into Florida would have definitely been a process as well, and that the staff didn't want to go through all that unless the decision was pushed back. That would allow everything to work itself out and provide the staff with additional time to evaluate the situation.
But as of this morning, I haven't heard of anything changing with Ole Miss remaining as my prediction.
