What a game! We haven't won a game like that in that fashion for a while. Tremendous breath of fresh air and a fun game to watch.

Now the nitpicking: on the heels of Miami's stupidity vs. GT, I was wondering how best to manage the logistics of running the clock out.

There has got to be more efficient ways of getting it done to avoid having to take a safety like today and getting into a melee vs. UT by putting our QB in peril at the end.

How about lining up 1 or 2 WRs wide in the victory formation, have them run 2-3 steps, QB takes a 2-3 step drop and fires the ball over the WR's head as high and far as he can throw it into the stands. Doesn't the clock run until the ball lands or does it stop when in goes OB? This could work if you want to kill seconds rather than having the opponent stop the clock.

I'm just spitballing here. Certainly there are better ways to do these things than others.

Thoughts?
