I believe @Gator Fever stated that he gets thrown in jail while The Groper Joe is still the president to actually pardon him before the next president.
I doubt he does any time but think he would be pardoned as Biden left office. I still think Biden with worsening Alzheimer's and House hearings coming will be pushed to leave office.
As long as he doesn't wear a MAGA hat he won't see jail time

This is also the off ramp for Biden. I predict a Hillary will run positioning herself as the “moderate” candidate to save The Party from the “far left” after the mid terms bloodbath.
If they jail hunter then I can't see them not making a case for jailing The Big Guy in the process. As Jesse said, the sitting US President committed Treason.
They offered Hunter a plea deal: Pay a $2M fine and no jail time and hunter gave them the finger. FBI said ok, new deal is $15M in fines and you plead guilty to multiple felonies.
This is the son of the guy that failed third grade.
I could see hildabeast pushing for that, but it would be a total dud with voters. She would likely be even less popular than Hden.
Now if they wanted to run michelle, I could see that getting some traction with the moderates and RINOs.
I doubt she runs myself but trying to think who the nominee might be with Harris being unpopular. I guess they could force Harris on the Dems using the south like they did with Biden but without a media assisted operation like that maybe someone like Pacohantas could get the nomination with no Bernie running.
Warren isn't likeable and she's starting to decline mentally. Biden at least had the "aw shucks Lunchbucket Joe" appeal. Warren is a shrill whiner and extreme activist.
Trust me, The Party is going to act like they need to move to the middle after these mid terms and that's going to pave the way for her.
Not sure what they will do but 2020 showed with media assistance they can force a nominee on the Dems just by having black political figures in SC etc supporting that candidate. Warren is old but with no Bernie I am trying to guess who would win a 24 Dem primary if the media etc. stayed neutral. They get crazier left every year.
That could cause a lot of in-party fighting.
I think they will seriously rachet up the Trump witchhunt after the midterms. Maybe even jail him. Which of course will only speed up the party's demise.

I really don't think they can let anything happen to the Hidens. Cause if they take down the Hiden, they will implicate the obama and clintons and likely most of the dem party in the process.

Honestly, the dude was just weird. He had a weird sense of humor and he often made no sense in what he said. That was the original reason why I blocked him, even posted here that it was nothing personal, dude was just weird AF and I saw no value in his posts.

So if EITHER of them 'wins' a presidential election, it becomes that much harder for rational people to accept that cheating isn't happening.
ALL of this is pushing us toward cleansing government of corruption. I know it doesn't feel like it most days, but we continue to head in the RIGHT direction. Will definitely hit some potholes before we arrive, tho.
