The AD taking the President up there shows me he is clueless apparently. Foley wasn't even that stupid and I think Machen would have laughed at him if he ever suggested doing that when the deal wasn't 100% done already.

My guess would be he brought the President up there to assure Chip that he was going to be able to run the program how he wanted. I think they kind of got suckered and Chip was using them to get Mora fired, but I don’t blame Stricklin for going all in on the only sure game changing hire. He’s in a little bit of a tough spot now though. If he missed the next guy, we’re going to look like a joke.

Frost didn't use Florida to get the gig at Nebraska. He has stated publicly in the past that Nebraska is his dream job. Not flaming or calling you out just stating Frost has not used Florida. He never did anything publicly that could be viewed as meeting with UF to get more $ at Nebraska. Best of luck in the HC search. UF will find one that will work.

Because our naive AD was dumb to let that thought get out there. Now it looks like we struck out twice instead of one time.

Is that a serious question? The guy has turned a program around in his second season. Zero wins to undefeated. It happened in the same state about an hour and a half drive away. He can recruit. He is young and has a high football coaching IQ. I hope that helps.

Read the whole post. NO chance he comes to Florida. None. He is using us to get the most money he can from Nebraska. That's what big boy business is all about and apparently SS is too naive to see it
