Absolutely loved this quote from Todd last night. He completely gets it. What he has done here in 2.5 years is amazing. Dude can coach some ball. I spoke with Todd on Monday night and he was 100% convinced we were winning that game. Love the mindset. Relish the confidence.
Tennessee is known as one of the most physical teams in the country. We were absolutely more physical than the Vols last night. I thought Rueben, Condo and Tommy were beasts. You could see it in their eyes. We knew that Tennessee was going to try and take Walter off his game. We knew our bigs would have to defend and pound the boards to give us second chance shots. Todd's plan worked to perfection.
That was a helluva lot of fun. This team is tough!
