What I find so funny is that the journalistic media source that has taken this crap to task the most is on the far left (only Daily Kos and Salon are much farther out there): Slate. Slate has done a number of article exposing the shoddy research on the issue and the vested interests of those conducting the studies.

The progressives have bit off more than they can chew. Their little darlings are even turning on them. Just look at the insanity at Yale over Halloween costumes. I remember when I was at UF in the late 1980s the very point of whatever costume you wore was to be as offensive as possible.

I remember a friend of mine who was in the Navy SEALS for six years royally pissing off a bunch of Jewish students when he dressed up as a Brown Shirt complete with a Swastika armband. One kid tried to tear it off his arm and literally got slapped down for it.

But, in the last five years, or so, something has changed. Maybe it's just me getting older, but it really feels like the Left has gone so far to the Left that they went all the way around the bend and became the new fascists. Remember 20 years ago, when it was the religious fanatics that had their noses in everyone else's business? They've been replaced by the new Left.

It's funny how the extreme Left and extreme Right are almost indistinguishable in their contempt for decorum and freedom.

I'm considering voting Republican, purely out of spite. If some wacko like Trump gets elected, at least the Left will have something legit to sink their pointy teeth into.

The young all share the same erroneous thought. Their ideas are new ideas that no one has had and are so important that any means are acceptable to implement them.
