(this ain't kensucky's Cal-Cheat team) ;)

The Gator Men's Basketball Team just made it to another Elite-Eight.

Then they received NCAA recognition for Outstanding Academic Progress Rate (APR).
They are ranked in the Top 10% of their sport as Student/Athletes.

This marks the 4th consecutive year that the Gator Men's Basketball Team has been recognized, the longest streak by an SEC men's basketball team in the history of the APR (since 2003).
In that 4 year span they won 2 SEC-C's, while BillyD took the team to a Final-4.
And now Mike White just took them to the Elite-8.
==========

The Gator Women's Tennis Team
has been so honored for 3 consecutive years.

The Men's Tennis Team
posted 4 SEC Top-4 finishes, an NCAA quarterfinal and another NCAA Sweet 16 appearance.

While the Women's Golf Team
reached the NCAA championships 3 out of those 4 years.

The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation to provide a measure of each team's academic performance. This year's APR report is a multi-year rate based on scores from the academic years 2012-13 through 2015-16.

This is what an All Sports school with real 'Student-Athletes' is all about... GoooooGATORS! :cool:

Last one, best one is the mantra the Gator Track and Field Program, and its last meet of the regular season certainly qualified as one of its best this year. The Gators posted 14 times and marks that rank in the NCAA Division I top 30, including a pair of national leads and five national top 10s. That number does not include a handful of marks that should put Gators in contention for, if not outright clinching NCAA East Preliminary berths.
Florida returns to action May 11-13, when it competes at SEC Outdoor Championships in Columbia, S.C.
