Much has been made of how difficult the next four weeks will be. We play #2, #6, #16 and #19. On top of that, all of them play us off of their bye week. AND we're down our starting QB, RB1, CB1, CB3 and WR1 (arguments can be made as to whether some of the replacements are actually better although in each case less experienced).

But it's really the fairest thing in the world. A coach in his third year at UF has to be a team capable of beating any one of these teams. It sucks, the timing isn't convenient but it's fair. These four QBs will test our D for real, and these four Ds are capable of giving us fits and throwing a ton at DJ. It's not easy, but it's fair.

If we had beaten UT, which we all know we had the game in our hands, we are 5-2 and going 2-2 in this stretch along with and FSU win gets us to 8-4 with momentum, an exciting future with DJ. But we aren't - and in big boy football you don't get mulligans. Losing games you should win makes beating the more challenging opponents even more important.

I'm actually really excited for these next three weeks. I could see us going 3-1 if everything falls our way. I could also see us going 0-4. We need some definitive answers. We need some closure. We need some direction forward.

This stretch couldn't have come at a better time.
