Grandma in south Chicago and east Cleveland won't let the young'ens play out on the sidewalk for fear of drive-byes. Grandma likes a police presence. Been there many times.
My wife will be graduating in December as a social worker. I told her if she is told to go somewhere that might cause her harm, I will force her to quit. But I have a feeling that those cases are only in liberal/democratic cities and states. Thank God for Texas!
So many minorities are on police forces in major cities it removes the narrative that White Cops are hunting down AA men. In fact, when I worked in Palm Beach in the '90s (I was a minority on the PBCSO and I'm Caucasian).
