Overall pretty solid. Kentucky was great but always concerns. I am normally more sunshine and hate cluttering up good threads with concerns. Here are some of my early concerns.
- Brantley has played pretty average. I'm not in the film room but that's what I have seen. I think Ivie is a solid tackle but he needs a force next to him to penetrate and make plays. Maybe the bigger games will get him motivated?
- linebacker depth. I think Davis and anzalone are the best 1-2 punch in sec period. I like the potential of the young guys but if they go down tackling fournette, chubs etc will be tough for young guys.
- pass rushing ends. We still don't have any elite pass rushers but maybe good enough as a group to get it done
- kickoff return. It pisses me off with our athletes we can't get better returns
- field goals - I love Eddie but I'm always worried about someone who hasn't kicked in a game and the pressure getting in his head.
- lack of size at wr position. The field gets small in the redbone and some size would help
- rushing game. Still waiting for the chunk plays
- Del Rio throwing into double coverage. He did it 3-4 times that a good secondary might take advantage of
- Martez. He whiffs on a number of blocks. I just hoped he would be better. Still young and maybe I just see the bad and not all the good.
