You haven't seen a championship in your lifetime, so coming in second is as good as it gets I guess.. I get the point of the article, however you tried to troll a "Bammer" by saying he wouldn't like the number one entry on the list.. The number one entry lost to "Bammer" giving them another title.. Reminding them of winning a title should make them upset?
It doesn't matter what your expectations are entering the year.. Once you get into the Title game you should expect to win.. Look at Ohio State in '14 or Florida State in '13. They weren't expected to win those years and were told they were a year away.. Good thing they just took care of business when they got the shot because neither team has returned to those heights.
Heck look at your Bulldogs or Auburn Tigers.. Nothing is given.. Losing a Title Game hurts.. There are no moral victories.
