That level appears to being the Great Value brand Miami of the SEC.

How are you going to be throwing objects at your own sideline/team? You can't blame it on just a few rogue fans when it was coming down from more than one area.

Even hitting their own cheerleaders with stuff.

Kiffin got nailed by a yellow golf ball.

On the UK board they said that Kiffin got hit in the head with something as he was about to go in the tunnel.
A water bottle was thrown at him. He actually caught it. He then threw his visor up into the stands.
Embarrassing for UT but don’t forget Kiffin let them hanging after just 1 year so they really hate him. Still inexcusable for UT but when you already have a bad fanbase and add some more hate to it that is what you get.

Gotcha and true enough. Some of that hate seems to have spurred some of those fans to put brown liquid in the bottles.

Kiffin seems to be taking that hate fairly well since he didn't think the brown liquid was moonshine because they wouldn't waste it on him. His words

About half of their fans say it will help get the officials to stop cheating them late in games. What was the deal with all those golf balls. Did some fans plan ahead to throw them Kiffin's way when the game ended?

They're an unreal fan base. They have nothing to be proud of at all since they backed into winning the East in 2007.

What's their best win total since then? A 9 win season under Kiffin and maybe another 9 win season somewhere along the way?

EDIT: Nevermind, apparently Kiffin went 7-6. And I think their record from Kiffin through Pruitt is like 73-76.

And the one time they aligned it perfectly to make it to the SECCG since Fulmer, they allowed Mc to back in.

He also got hit with a golf ball during the game

All in all it's not even the worst thing their fans have done in the past, so considering that it's Tennis-sea,,,, 😴

At the bowl games I've gone to here in Orlando, they would take the cap off your bottle of water at the concession stand to prevent this kind of thing. Most of the trash was half full water bottles

Just another example as to why Tennessee fans are the worst in the SEC. If the SEC does not come down hard on them they will continue with the same behavior. But on second thought, they will continue with or without punishment.

I would ban fans from the stadium for a game or two. Or suspend selling alcohol a couple of games. A drunk UT fan is a danger to society

Edit: A sober Tennessee fan is also a danger to society.

The worst fans in the SEC are at Georgia -- at Sanford stadium.
To me - there aint no comparison.

I was about 6'4 220-235 back in the day before my bones got older (not my spirit) - and some of those boys over there who were little guys would still try and pick me and a few fellas I was with out - and try to start scraps.

I admit back in the day I did have a hard heart, and was willing to participate in all that foolishness, before I found the happiness I have in Christ.

But that stadium, for some reason was always always the worst one to go to. Ive only been to Knoxville once and it was years ago. Maybethings have changed.

I heard that the SEC imposed a $250,000 fine. No word on an official alcohol restriction.

I don't know, ....that doesn't seem good enough to me. For the every day life of the fans, there is no punishment at all.

Somebody said it before, and I agree with it, that they should play UGA in an empty stadium. Then it will impact the fans much harder than just a SEC fine.

An empty stadium is being too harsh. (106,000 x $30 = budget busting)
So I'd let them seat as many UGly fans as wanted to come....

I really used to dislike Kiffen, but after that episode, found a new sliver of respect for him.
That was pure SOS in a different era.

My feelings towards Kiffin statted to change shortly after he became the coach of Florida Atlantic. I don't know if ya'll remember that "promotional" video he made to help interest recruits, but to this day it is one of the most depressing things I've ever seen in the world of sports.

You could see it reflected on his face as well. I'm sure he probably had time to prepare, multiple "takes", etc....and yet he looked like his childhood dog just died, he got a flat tire in the rain, and he accidently dropped and stepped on his highly anticipated lunch all rolled into one .....times a hundred. He looked miserable and couldn't hide it.

I felt bad for him then and was willing to let bygones be bygones for some of his words against UF when he coached UT.
