Just so you know, the Gators have already communicated with Gilbert multiple times since he went in the portal earlier this week.
The Gators definitely have some work to do here, so I'm definitely not getting my hopes up or anything, but one source told me this moments ago.
"I like where (the Gators) sit."
Gilbert is a generational talent who could construct a career similar to what Pitts did in Gainesville. Outstanding receiving skills.
Also, Farrell and Gorney just published a Fact of Fiction story regarding UGA's chances at landing Gilbert.
It's more of an overall view of his recruitment, but it's hard to not like UGA's chances early on. They have been trending more than anyone. Tennessee as well, but they are in the midst of a recruiting mess with the NCAA.
Who knows what Gilbert does? I'm just confirming what I said earlier this week as far as the Gators recruiting him and making a push.
