It's still early, so for now, they are spinning wet dreams that Trump will blow it. They will stick with that until it becomes painfully obvious that Trump was right. Again.
At that point, they have to either admit that Trump was right and they were wrong about him......or they have to get in bed with China.
Option A - America wins, Trump was right

I don't think some realize what the real purpose of Tariffs actually was. Trump is merely trying to level the playing field since we've been getting the short end of the stick for so long. It may take a month or even two for everyone to come to the table and reach agreement. Once we completely level things, it should boost our economy.
Same reason they’ve exempted many of the products that I manage that are imported.
There’s no industry in the US for those products, so all you’re doing is hurting your own people.

What did the detractors say when Trump announced tariffs? That it was a dumb move cause we need Chinese products like electronics.
Trump supporters said we trust that Trump knows what he's doing. Detractors said we were just as dumb as he is.
Then we learn Trump actually exempted the Chinese products like electronics.
Detractors then say 'yall got conned' to Trump supporters. Classic projection attempt.
PS: Xi has already said he wont raise tariffs anymore, Trump has already announced tariffs on Chinese electronics are still on the table. Leverage.

I'm thinking that means Trump has the leverage here, but I haven't checked in with cat-avatar dude on Twitter, so not sure.
China is not on firm footing here. I think we can handle a spike in iPhone prices more easily that they can deal with a currency collapse and the caving of their real estate market.

The latest fight is fun...they're literally protesting to bring BACK an MS-13 gang member who's a citizen of El Salvador.

I think the point you guys are ignoring is that Trump broke or severely flouted the law in deporting that person. He may be a terrorist or he may be innocent. We will never know. Either way he was in the US legally and supposed to have been protected.
To give a regime absolute power to deport ANYONE based on their suspicions and not proven valid reasons borders on a dictatorship. That is not what our country is about.
He wasn't a US citizen. His protection came from a judge ruling in 2019 that he would be put in harm if he was deported.
The Trump administration had credible intel that he was a MS-13 gang member, so they deported him.
You are protecting your politics, by attacking Trump. Trump was protecting you, by deporting a suspected gang member who was NOT a US citizen.
That's the difference between you and Trump. Just imagine if you defended law-abiding US citizens as strongly as you do gang members...

1) He's a citizen of El Salvador, he was here illegally.
2) Two immigration courts identified him as MS-13, which is now considered a terrorist organization, meaning he has no immigration protections.
3) He didn't deny that, in fact his case in District court centered around his concern for his safety if returned to his home country BECAUSE of his gang activity. SCOTUS held up that part of the ruling.
4) The Trump administration admitted it was mistaken in sending him back to El Salvador, but at this point there's nothing that can be done. Bondi said yesterday they'd facilitate (fly a plane there) to get him, but the El Salvadorian president claims he cannot send a terrorist El Salvadorian back to the US where's he's not even a citizen.
I can post the video where everything I said was cited by Trump's cabinet if you'd like? All of these people, including the President of El Salvador, were there. I wonder why whatever news source you use didn't show you this?
But by all means please keep defending importing more terrorists into the country. It's part of why Trump is POTUS today.

There was a judge's order in place, but it didn't guarantee him protection from deportation.
We've now reached the point in the story where you are attacking the US President for protecting you, and you're defending the gang member.
