We all know that the NFL delves into potential draft choices back rounds before investing millions in them. There is a blurb in today's FTU from ex Tampa Bay GM that when considering wide out Justin Blackmon, who already had a DUI and other issues in college, they sent a scout to the most popular bar at OSU for a week. He stayed from 3-to-11 just to see how often Blackmon would come in.
According to the ex GM, he came in too often for their liking, so they traded the #5 pick to Jacksonville, who selected Blackmon, who has been suspended by the NFL for I believe three times already.
