Bill Dowdy, a Gator tight end from 1969-1971 passed away yesterday after fighting glioblastoma brain cancer for the past 30 months. He was a great representative of Gator Nation, a good father and husband, and a hard-nosed warrior during his playing days. Please keep Bill, his wife Susan, and their two children in your prayers.
