Stickland might be in a few anti-trust lawsuits...caught exchanging emails

In a related story, sadgatornews is reporting that the UCF administration has approved the installation of tampon dispensers in all men’s room facilities at Bright House Stadium.

Stadium Facilities Director Fred Dorfman issued a prepared statement reading,

“With all of the whining and bitchy behavior of our male fans, we just felt that it was an appropriate gesture to show support for their frustration. We are hoping to start a tradition of “public insertion” at the end of the third quarter of each game. We hope that the NCAA will recognize this symbolic protest one day.”

sadgatornews will stay on this breaking story...

Good knight what a worthless article. “The system is unfair! Our weak schedule should be rewarded the same as everyone’s stronger schedules!”

Socialism is not cool, kids. It destroys entire nations. Why does UCF hate America?

Here is the grizzled reporter who went all Woodward and Bernstein on UF and Missouri.

Seriously, how could you possibly have antitrust issues between two SEC teams discussing bowl options? As everybody in the world, except evidently this guy, know, in CFP, conferences have pre-set bowl affiliations where their teams are slotted into bowls, so OF COURSE the schools in the conference are going to discuss the slotting, as it is an INTERNAL DECISION.

As for the New Years Day Six, it has a set of guidelines designed to allow for the INCLUSION of a non-power 5 team. Otherwise, since Bowls have the right to invite teams of their choosing to their events, schools like UCF would just be left out entirely.

I am concerned that either this fellow has been making up quotes, or, the people he spoke to have no idea what anti-trust is or how it works. If anything, the charge would be COLLUSION. Because, as we all know, anti-trust means there is insufficient competition in the marketplace, but the anti-trust would be against the NCAA, and UCF IS A MEMBER OF THE NCAA. This would be like if the South-East Refinery department of Standard Oil filed an anti-trust suit against Standard Oil.

What's the biggie here. Two AD's sent emails wanting to use his clout to get a buddy a good bowl...that led to the mighty Liberty Bowl...a bowl that already has tie-ins to the SEC...and gets one of the middle of the pack choices at best. How dare them.

Edit: I do think in a few years conferences will expand once again, however with all the bitching and moaning this AD is doing, whatever conference is expanding will say "F these bitching guys" and leave them on the outside looking in.

Groundbreaking stuff. Two guys in the same profession that get along are discussing where their teams may end up in the post season. Mizzou’s options were Shreveport or Birmingham, not exactly insider trading to bilk millions more out of the CFP like this is being advertised by Knight fans.

I have to give Stricklin credit. Him not commenting and making UCF try and push this nonissue harder is making them look even more obnoxious and dumb. They’ve gone from Cinderella to ugly step sister in less than a year.
