This was a BRILLIANT speech. They telegraphed the way democrats would respond, and hit a home run in every subject. Dims went in with a plan only to disrupt and defy. Trump spoke mostly about 80/20 subjects. Dims disrupted and refused to clap on 80% popular subjects. Please give Trump some space. Especially with tariffs. He ALWAYS has a plan, and he is ALWAYS right.
I really can't understand the strategy of taking the 20% approval issues and dying on those hills. Transgender stuff is widely unpopular, almost 80%, yet the Dims choose that to make a stand.
Everything they're doing is still in campaign mode. That's over with and you lost. Now is the time to try and work together where you can and try and get some wins. They seem to have missed that piece altogether. I think we're watching a political party self destruct in front of our eyes.
This is actually VERY easy to explain....they HATE Trump so much they are blinded by the hate that makes them whiff on the subject matter. And the hate outweighs ANY common sense, and this is NOT GOOD for America. We actually NEED a strong Democratic party to keep these republican politicians in line. Trump is gone in 4 years, and we need a strong America after he leaves.
