I chatted just before with Buffalo Bills and former Clemson WR Sammy Watkins, who was at the Swamp tonight for the Sensational Sophomore Night on Thursday night prior to Friday Night Lights tomorrow night.
Watkins was there for his younger cousin, Cameron Neal, who is currently a freshman at Estero High School.
For a good bit during the event, Watkins was talking to Brian Poole in the stands. Watkins said they were talking about an array of topics, including what it takes to succeed at the next level, family, etc.
Watkins said he talked to some members of the Florida coaching staff, including Chris Rumph and Kerry Dixon. Likes what they're doing over there and thinks they're really cool.
Watkins won't be at FNL tomorrow night but enjoyed his time in the Swamp tonight.
