Special Forces enter Mexico

7th Group (Green Berets) are in country to “train” lol, advise and assist Mexican Marines to fight the cartels. What this typically means is we’ll train them in humint & sigint gathering, infil platforms, combat etc etc. They get a month to become operational and then it’s game on.

Cartels are no doubt a formidable opponent; however, I’m not sure they’ve ever encountered a force with the amount of speed, technology and precision we provide.

Buckle up because it’s about to get interesting…

My hometown boys...they were more than likely already there in some numbers, but I would imagine this is just more of them now.

They will not even be a pimple on these guys asses. Their weapons are not near as good as ours. Most of these guys in this unit look like the cartel members...most are spanish, and ELITE.

Dont know what they need green berets for, actual Marines have been training Mexican Naval Infantry (MARINA) for years.

Tell me how their Airforce will stand up to ours? Tell me how they will stand up to Delta, 7th SOC, or maybe the SEAL'S? How good are their satellites? I know they have people in places because of all the money...but a drug cartel will never stand up to our military with Trump in charge. They will have their handcuffs removed. IF we unleash our might on them...it will be VERY one sided

They aren’t just armed civilians. They exist to make money. This is different than a population of people who would defend their families and freedom. Without profit motive, cartels will no longer have an organizing principle. Armed patriots can afford to sit back as an imbedded insurgency, blend in with the obedient population and make the govt chase. Cartels will need to be on offense to keep their product on the market.

Devgru mounted an operation ten years ago to snatch and grab a mid level cartel operative. It took them six months and 11 Mexican Marines died.

So armed citizens are a better fighting force than the cartels?
 
Shut down the flow at both borders and use the coast guard / navy off the coast to choke off drug trafficking. Cut them off from their customer base. Use drones to target their drug refineries. Put massive bounties on the heads of top cartel officials. Seems like they would fold like a cheap beach chair.

Armed civilians have advantages that criminal enterprise does not. Specifically, well trained, well armed civilians are a handful. People who can secure their own food and are well trained that have a network of like minded are nearly impossible to root out.

I get it...they are tough, and armed and have money that can buy almost anything they want. However when the most powerful military on the planet (with proper leadership) puts you in their sites...you are DONE. I am taking heavily in consideration that idiot lefties will not be putting our troops in to unnecessary danger to accomplish this. We will use overwhelming force(if this happens, which I believe it will) 7th group have been operating down south for a LONG time. I posted this before, but I know of an operation about 5-7 years ago when our citizens were getting mugged(and sometimes killed) to steal their passports. These guys went in undercover and went to places known to be areas where this happened frequently...and ended many of these people's ability to attack our citizens....

Something like 75 percent of Mexico is in the pocket of the cartels. Federales, local Leo's, judges civilians

So why hasn’t this been done in full out effort before when it was cocaine, then meth and now fentanyl?

Theo is terrified of the idea of law-abiding citizens having guns and using them effectively to defend themselves. That's why he always defends the criminals, he wants to make the case that only criminals can use guns 'effectively', so that's why we need to eliminate all guns.

It's irrational, but so is a grown ass man being skeered of an inanimate object.

Political will. The ugly truth is that our agencies profit from these outfits. They profit in cold hard cash and / or intel and geopolitical power.

Because that’s the actual GB mission set. They aren’t the force of bad asses just going in and blowing shit up. That’s what Rangers do. And 7th group out of Duke specializes in Latin America.
