This isn't a stance on weed or whether it should be legal or not. I don't smoke it (or cigarettes for that matter), but I do believe it should be legalized (although I didn't vote that way back in November here in-state). What any of us believe though doesn't really matter. The fact is it is illegal and you know testing positive for it is going to hurt your pocketbook.
Nebraska pass rusher Randy Gregory is on CBS Sports stock tumbling list after he tested positive for weed at the combine.
My issue with that again isn't smoking weed - it is not having enough sense to stop for several weeks, a month or however long it takes to get it out of your system before the combine. You just cost yourself how much money? It isn't like they sprung a surprise test on him. If you are invited to the Combine, they are going to drug test you.
Are you that hooked on it that you can't stop for a couple of weeks in order to set yourself up for the rest of your life?
He was being talked about in the 3-10 range, now I saw a mock having him drop to the Steelers at 22.
