If they just swing like they have been tomorrow will be their last day of the season. The Seniors are not doing NOTHING and letting way too many first and second pitches go right by them.

Coach Walton is lost and doesn't know what to do as these Seniors are ready to go home.

Hitting with runners in scoring position has been a problem for this team all year. The Georgia pitcher threw a great game and we didn't take advantage early on when we had scoring opportunities each of the first 3 innings. Stewart is not getting on base nearly as much as she did her 1st 3 years. Her on base percentage is probably .200 lower than in prior years. Popping it up an awful lot and she's been doing that the last half of the season. Kvistad has been our best RBI hitter all year and she's been in a slump since the SEC tournament. And Fuller, who hit the ball hard an awful lot the last 2 years, seems to have lost her confidence at the plate. But these are a great group of young ladies who know how to win and I fully expect them to come out tomorrow and find a way to win 2.

This result was very predictable after watching their last few games. This bracket they got put in is a joke anyway, yet again no matter being the back to back champs, Florida will never get the Bama money bag treatment in ANY sport.

He is the opposite of our baseball manager, if you want to question someone.................

They caught a very hot uga team. Their pitcher is really good and they are swinging the bats. We will need a heroic effort to win today and again tomorrow.

Plus we are playing very tight. Two errors already in the game today.

I agree on the 'letting the first pitch strikes go right by them' to often.
They need to be more 'aggressive' at the plate, be ready to swing on strikes on the 1st pitch. Last night a player I won't name stood there for 4 consecutive pitches without swinging the bat even once. Three of the pitches were strikes and she never took a swing before going to sit back down. What made that worse was it was the 6th or 7th inning and down by 3 runs....

To a slightly lesser extent, the same for the baseball team on 1st pitch strikes. o_O
(especially with the blind/incompetent/corrupt umpires calling the low-outside balls as strikes)

With today's technology, I'd like to see a machine determining the strikes/balls instead of any paid-off or incompetent umpire making the calls. (because they SUCK at it)

I told u guys a month ago it would be a short tournament for UF. These Seniors just don't handle pressure too well. It is what it is.

Yep. Mercifully today we take my youngest to dinner for her birthday. I can turn this carp fest off. and DVR the rest. If we win, I will watch it. If not, erase it.
Only down 1 not so bad, if that is still the score. Maybe we can pull it together. We tend to bunch runs together.

Last night they took a ton of first pitch fastballs for strikes. Is the same thing happening today?
