Does Saban pick up all three as offensive analyst?
Applewhite was his first OC at Bama. And was NOT ready for the job. I love Major and was happy to see him in Tuscaloosa at the time, but he wasn't ready. Haven't followed his career much since but I would suspect he'll get another OC job somewhere.
He went to Rice with Todd Graham and changed their wishbone offense to a spread type offense and they went 7-6. Then his one year stint at Bama. Later he went to Texas first as a RB/QB coach then OC to save the sinking Texas ship under Mack Brown. He left before Strong took over at Texas and coached with Tom Herman at Houston. The year they beat Oklahoma if I'm not mistaken. He went 15-11 as HC at Houston..had Houston rolling until QB D'Eric King(dude who took Kyle Trask position in HS) got injured.
