So Spurrier looks like he has a legit RB.

He wears the best number (7).

He's making an impression in this first game.

It'll be interesting to see what Spurs does with him.

Also, Mitch has a lame duck ball but I think he's intelligent enough that he can work through it.

Still love Fedora.

That's all.

P.S. Fake punt.

Maybe should have given him the ball instead of trying qb sneak there.

Really bad decision to go for it there. Defense playing well and no guarantee you score a TD anyway. Should have taken the TD lead.

Dude is ridiculously fast, but damn both these QB's sucked. That's been my biggest surprise with Spurrier's tenure, all his QB's save Shaw have been terrible. I'm feeling much better about possibly competing in the East, they shouldn't score on us barring a bunch of turnovers.

And yea Fedora seems to be coming into his own. If Chizik gets the D to perform like that consistently they'll contend in the Coastal. They need a different QB though.

I doubt Fedora gets another season if he doesn't right this ship quickly.

Meh...still won.

The QB sneak is so obvioua

It worked out okay, because UNC made a pretty questionable 4th down decision at the other end. 4th and goal from the 5, down 4, 2 timeouts and almost four minutes left, UNC's defense playing well, I would have kicked the fieldgoal and played defense.

But that was a terrible decision by USC to go for it. If they kick the fieldgoal, the likely worst-case scenario is that USC has the ball last, game tied, with a chance to win it with a good kicker. If your defense keeps them out of the endzone, you win. If you are going to go for it, don't sneak it. They had almost a full yard to get.

USC looks like they have good athletes on both sides of the ball but no quarterback.

I've never seen a spurrier offense look so inept. It reminded me of ....... Well you know

#7 is Shon Carson. He's a senior at South Carolina and is a decent player. He's not even in their 2 deep at RB. Pharaoh Cooper is the best offensive player they have by far and probably the best player on their team. They look like another average ball club to me.

Fedora is just an average coach as well. Not sure he's going to last much longer.

Who I earth are you talking about? First game? #7 is Shon Carson and he is a 5th yr senior and has played in 29 games for South Carolina.

I was thinking the same thing...SCe didn't look very good last night. We haven't seen the Gators yet but I know that our D will have a field day with them.

And you made the comment that said it will be interesting to see what Spurs does with him. I imagine Spurrier will do the same with Carson that he has the previous 28 games, which isn't too much.

Lol I'm sorry you got caught being poor at reading comprehension. Your counter argument you laid out there is silly.

God you are almost a charicature of yourself at times you know it all.

"Hi I'm Paco. I'll tell you how it is. And when I'm wrong? Ha! As if, you must be the wrong one!"
