I know it is tough starting a true freshman, but 1) Graham Mertz probably isn’t getting us to a bowl game next year, and he certainly isn’t getting us to the playoffs, and 2) Billy’s best hope right now is that DJ shows all the other players out there that he is what we think he is. We might get players to buy into Lagway that aren’t buying into Billy.
