That was the old narrative, despite, as Shokin himself says, no one can find one instance of him being corrupt and he was widely praised prior to the Burisma investigation.

Now the narrative is Shokin was an asset to Burisma because he was the “devil they knew” and Joe was actually hurting the firm his son was working for…despite the fact Archer and Shokin have been clear he was fired to stop the investigation.

It doesn’t matter that the obvious answer is the easy one - Libs will tie themselves into knots to protect the narrative.

I finally realized after Archer interview that it doesn't matter what is said. You're looking for confirmation and anything to support your claim/belief. That was my "I get it" moment.

They also seem to have another characteristic. Exaggerating their financial and occupational success. Whether it’s a fake doctor, an oil tycoon soybean farmer, or a pill counting independent, they all end up being disingenuous with political discussions as well.
