Sheep: More people have died in NY nursing homes from hoax flu than total deaths in state of FL

I have been screaming this from the rafters that they are padding numbers to keep this pandemic hysteria going.

Makes you wonder if population density, mass transit, urban vs rural and first outbreak sites might have any effect, doesn't it?

Let's ask Gov Cuomo.

Or let's look at this another way.....if Cuomo had handled this correctly, the NY case and death totals are a fraction of what they are today.

How much of what's happened in NY was used to drive both the media hysteria AND policy? We were told since it happened in NY, it was going to happen nationwide and models were created based on that assumption. In great part, this drove the decision to have a lockdown.

Remove Cuomo's horrible mismanagement of hoax flu, and the entire house of cards comes tumbling down, doesn't it?

Interesting...

Spoke to a neighbor that is head of the biggest emergency room in my town and also treats patients in the ICU and he told me that the hospital administration wants anyone with fever or illness to be classified as Covid 19 for $$$ reasons. He relates that he has only seen real illness in those above 60 with co-morbidity and that most patients would be better off at home with monitoring.

population density.......... Nursing home with high% at risk so lets send positive back to them. Cuomo sense not common sense.
mass transit.......... about a foot from the whole city's potential infection not shut down........Cuomo sense not common sense.
urban vs. rural.................... NYC not the only urban area in USA
first outbreak............... absolutely so have supplies on hand as gov, should have been more ready. Cuomo said no.

Cuomo still had 10 times the death rate in NY, than Florida to date. Cuomo should be recalled and if he were republican you would agree.

You shared about wondering and I shared about pragmatics, Sir. I think we all learned a valuable lesson about one another.

It must be especially difficult to be pragmatic if you interject your words into my statement incorrectly.

Nothing incorrect if pragmatism is in place. Pragmatism is not defined by one’s position it is a straight forward result driven concept and your pragmatism does not align with what I believe nor mine yours. And for the sake of PRAGMATISM ...what is incorrect with my interjections. NYC has the worst numbers, maybe not by any fault of their reaction, but Cuomo’s nursing home decision is at issue if nothing else. Also, grammatically your words were a question not a statement, so I thought it deserved an answer. Have a great day!

I was responding to post # 5. by DR. C, not your post, sorry for the confusion. And BTW I do allow your statements, re- NYC are pertinent and relevant. Thanks for the response. I'm not really that impressed with Cuomo. I assure you when it comes to Covid response, my interests lie in public health, not party affiliation.

Right well in fact treating covid cases costs hospitals money, because they make nothing on treating the covid cases and the covid cases displace surgeries, particularly elective, which is where hospitals make all their money.

“Hospitals face catastrophic financial challenges in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The AHA estimates a total four-month financial impact of $202.6 billion in losses for America’s hospitals and health systems, or an average of $50.7 billion per month.”

That quote has nothing to do with your claim that hospitals don't get paid anything for treating hoax flu patients.

I seriously think I'm reading Joe Biden half the time when I read your posts.
