ATLANTA, GEORGIA | Inside the Gators was on deck for Florida's brief walkthrough in the Georgia Dome on Friday afternoon. Below are some observations from what we saw.
--LB Jarrad Davis (ankle), who is expected to play this weekend, moved around well during drills and didn't look hampered by that injury.
--S Nick Washington (ankle) was no longer in a boot and was participating in light drills with the team. DB Duke Dawson (ankle) was standing on the sideline along with Jeawon Taylor (arm), who was in a sling, watching on.
--DE Bryan Cox Jr. (lower leg) was a participant in drills Friday and moved around OK despite his injury. TE C'yontai Lewis (ankle) and OT Fred Johnson (scooter incident) both moved around well in drills.
--Among a group of players watching on from the sideline and not participating in drills: DE Antonneous Clayton (wearing a brace on his left arm), OL Antonio Riles (torn ACL), DE Justus Reed (undisclosed), Mark Herndon (hamstring)
--QBs Austin Appleby, Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask also participated in routes on air with receivers on a range of routes. QB Luke Del Rio (shoulder), meanwhile, did not and watched on. Appleby continued to get the first looks in the drill, while Franks was right behind him.
