With LSU & Florida winning today, 13 of the 14 total teams in the SEC are now bowl eligible. That is the most from any conference in a single season in CFB history. Also, best of luck to Vandy during finals week.

The SEC has set a record for any FBS conference with 93% of its teams (13 of 14) bowl eligible in a single season.

Wow that is crazy. The conference is at an all time high right now in football and basketball is getting much better too. IMO a lot of it has to do with the obscene money the SEC is getting right now.

Best case scenario, if Bama and UGa get playoff bids, then Ol Miss gets the Sugar Bowl. The next best record is 9-3 Kentucky, will they get a NY6 bowl? If they do, that leaves 9 bowl affiliations for the remaining 9 teams. Worst case scenario, Only UGa in playoff, Bama only NY6 team, then 11 bowl eligible teams for 9 spots. Either SEC teams sit home or lesser conferences get bumped.

Teams are gonna get invited that can bring the fanbase. We had 88,000 in the swamp yesterday with an interim coach for a in state rivalry game.

Not sure KY gets a NY6 because the committee doesn't look at them as a strong 3 loss team. I think it's power 5 conference champs and the highest ranked non champions. Need to look it up though.

And to think the conference's contract with CBS expires in a few years. You'd think CBS would be smart enough to renew it. Time will tell, right?

Mostly agree with this. Crapping the bed against the Vols at home really hurt. Most UK fans consider our ceiling to be the Citrus Bowl with the Outback Bowl being most likely.

Actually, I think it’s the Citrus being most likely as the 4th best team in SEC games....I’m good either way
