If you want to take this as an excuse, that’s fine. Fact of the matter is these teams all play in D-1 with one common goal, to make the playoffs. So what would we think of our team with this schedule:
ECU
UNLV
Bowling Green
Rutgers
@ Nebraska
@ Minn
Indiana
@ Mich St
Purdue
@ Penn State
Because that’s Michigan’s path to the playoffs so far. One ranked team.
I only even paid attention to it because a Michigan guy I know was trying to make fun of Florida for “probably playing a cupcake this week”.
I’m not saying we run the table against that, but we aren’t in here every week at each other’s throats with it either.
