I know they’re probably quite a few disappointed fans, but I’m not one. Mullen was my second choice to Frost and number one on my revised list.

UF absolutely had to have a guy who would literally punch his way through a brick wall to be our coach. He will work his ass off to win a MNC, and this is his dream job! I am very glad this has come about.

Our offense will be exponentially better and if Stricklin doesn’t force him to hire Shannon, I think Mullen has enough connections around college football to build an unbelievable staff.

I would rate it as a B- hire. Good, but not great. But a significant upgrade from Butters.
Should be able to hold the recruiting class basically intact. The key guy is Corral.
I thought his wife didn't care much for Gainesville?

^^^ Rating coaches will always be subjective. For me it’s an A+, but for the next fan it’s an F-. Believe it or not...but not everyone liked Spurrier and he won a damn Heisman trophy! Same goes for Meyer who won 2 MNC. I’m not going to jump into the futile exercise of trying to convince people to like the hire, but I hope he gets a fair shake from our fan base.
