I seriously don't think it's possible for us to play any worse than that, if someone was going to kill us I think that was the best chance..That was the first time all year the entire team panicked and were playing tense and not even playing our own style, we kept trying to grind it out like them in the half court for some reason and since we never got any stops or defensive rebounds again we could never run on them in transition until the very end and once it happened we stole the game... Like the Butler Mike Miller buzzer beater in 2000, Georgetown Corey Brewer shot in 06.. Both led to Final Fours after btw
I liked how we played their game, but better than them. Hard-nosed defense, passes to the bigs for dunks, then, at money time, turned up the defensive heat and blew past them. we need a little work at dealing with the press these next couple of days, as that's all that kept us from winning by 10.
