Robert Hur resigns from the DOJ

Ben Hur approves! 😂

Excerpt from Hur testimony and my one question

Hur also will say: "There has been a lot of attention paid to language in the report about the President’s memory, so let me say a few words about that. My task was to determine whether the President retained or disclosed national defense information “willfully”—meaning, knowingly and with the intent to do something the law forbids. I could not make that determination without assessing the President’s state of mind."

My question.

Can you not say he willfully stole a document from a SCIF as a senator? Do you really need to read his mind for that one?

I cannot believe in the time I watched this today NO ONE brought up the timeline as to how long each person HAD the classified information. It does matter because Trump had no chance to argue that he declassified the stuff, and FJB had some of his stuff FOR DECADES, most of the stuff was ILLEGAL the second he took it, because he was not supposed to EVER have it. Why don't they ask "was it a crime when he took the classified info? Was he coherent then?" But they have AGENDAS, and this is nothing more than a two tiered justice system WE ALL know about.

Here's why Biden willfully retained those documents for so long---Pride and Money.

Hur testifies he 'did identify evidence' that 'pride and money' motivated Biden to retain classified records

It is why FJB does EVERYTHING....his family BILKS the USA for favors.

Left wing radical Jayapal tries to bully Hur into saying he exonerated Biden. He made it clear to her that Biden was not exonerated.
He also said that he never said that Biden was senile and his report didn't say that. Will you guys admit that you missed characterized the report?

Of course not. But knew damn well Garland wouldn’t take the recommendation to indict.

He’s telling you that point blank with this statement.

He’s basically saying Biden has always been an idiot, but he’s a total mess now.

Because they were pissed about his report adding what they thought were personal attacks. He also said that Biden had a "photographic memory". Something isn't adding up with Hur.
Not exactly right. He said you seem to have a "photographic understanding and recall of the house" (Wilmington lake house).

See page 47. Read the preceding 3 pages - Biden is rambling and telling stories about his travels to Mongolia and where certain pictures and keepsakes are kept.

Hur makes a comment that he surely seems to know very well where everything in the lake house was...

If you'll do your research, you'll find Yahoo news conveniently leaves out the context of why Hur said it. Biden bought that house in 1996. The way dementia works is you lose the short memories first, the older ones last. And regardless, pointing out that Biden has a solid overall memory (even though that's not what Hur said) would indicate that Biden DID have the mental capacity to know he had classified documents.

You get two choices here - he's either impaired and unable to be convicted because a jury would see a feeble old man, or he's got it upstairs and he's guilty of knowingly stealing and keeping classified information as a Senator and VP. Those are the only two options.

Also right after they decided to take a break because Biden had gone a "full hour"....but congrats on falling for a liberal talking point hook, line and sinker and not lifting a finger to do any research. This took me less than 15 minutes.

After the report, after Hur testimony, after release of the transcript, is there anyone here willing to say that Biden has committed no crimes?

Personal attacks that he was.....senile.

Hur walked an exceptionally fine with his submission.

Gaetz had it absolutely right, neither president should be charged here and FAR clearer protocols and rules need to be put in place.

My mother-in-law has early onset dementia. Her long term memory remains exceptional. She cannot remember what university her two granddaughters go to (UM and Rice - not hard to recall).

Kalim - respectfully, weak argument here. The left is upset and moved because Hur made that characterization.
