So revenue share is coming up, been doing some research. From my understanding, $20ish mill is being given to each sec school for sports. School can decide what to do with it % wise (so expect the UGAs and Texas of the world to give more to football where the Kentucky’s and Arkansas of the world give less to football and more to basketball).
But you can still give NIL too. NCAA says the player has to “do work” that equates to the money they receive from NIL. We obviously know the NCAA isn’t going to enforce this, they have never enforced anything.
So my question is, how is this going to change anything? How is this going to fix the issue of players demanding more money and prevent the Oregon’s and Texas of the world from paying millions more a year? Just trying to educate myself
