Really good show on the back to back national title basketball team. I recommend watching it. Awesome team and a very special group. Lots of good memories and moments that group created.

One of the best college basketball teams of all time.

That team could not be beaten in tournament style play.

Hopefully the special mentions Big Sid too. He played a major role in the repeat.
Mainly focuses on the players and their bond on and off the court.

I hope Lee Humphrey gets some run. He has to be one of the underrated college players of all-time. An all-time shooter, particularly in the tournament, on back to back champions, and I believe he was the most outstanding player in 2007, and I bet 98 percent of college hoops fans couldn't pick him out of a lineup.

that teams chemistry, defense, rebounding and getting out in runs fast off of them were such a joy to watch... i'd put that team up against any in the modern college era, to win 12 straight tournament games this day and age is literally about impossible and they did it. Especially the way the 2nd time around was so much harder everyone laid into us and the officials let games be more physical in our opponents favor, especially the first 3 of that tournament. The first two got out of hand

I remember watching that groups first SEC game in 06 and I said then I might be overrating these guys by how they look together right now but this team looks like they have it all. They had it for sure and even more. That first tournament run was about as dominant as it gets, we smashed everyone but Georgetown, my HS QB played on that team and gave us fits not turning the ball over and playing good defense on taurean and brewer. I was watching that game at the beach and didn't breathe for about two hours until Corey threw that one down near the end.

I think the 12 games they won in 2 years in the tourney the only one that went down to the end was the Georgetown game. None of the other games were close enough.

My middle daughter went to Florida during the basketball run as well as the football runs. I told her that she was blessed to attend UF during a very unusual time.

The Butler game in the 2nd year is the only one i can think of when they slowed it down and we had to come from behind, they might have been up by like 14 or more in the first half but we ended up winning by like 8 comfortably after wearing them down in the 2nd half and free throws. The purdue game was close because they let it be one sided physical until we did it back then our guards started draining 3's and put them down.

Dude he couldn't miss in the tourney...straight money.

Humphrey did get some run on the show. I think the most outstanding player in 2007 went to Greg Oden didn't it?

im sure he did, he was in his twilight years of his nba career by then playing college ball...

didn't someone finally figure out that he was like 43 a few years ago somehow and he just disappeared?

Hump was very underrated as a defensive player as well. I don't know of he put up good stats in the steals column or such...but if you watched the games, the guy he was defending usually had an off game compared to their usual average.
