1. Georgia - Definitely the most talented team we play.
2. LSU - At least roughly equal if not better talent - Will be a hard win to get on the road.
3. Auburn - A tough one - we have home field advantage but that true freshman QB will have a few games under his belt when they play us.
4. Kentucky - I don't see them having the big drop to 6-6 a lot of people see. I think this is either an 8-4 or 7-5 team at minimum.
5. Missouri - Yes they lost to Wyoming but they will pull a couple of surprise wins in SEC play I think.
6. FSU - Probably better than their collapse against Boise State - Defense was on the field for an insane amount of plays.
7. South Carolina - They are probably good for one surprise SEC win at least but will have a bad record with that schedule.
8. Tennessee - Appear to have major issues on defense but some of that was wearing down to Georgia State as they were on the field for a long time. Probably better than Vanderbilt overall.
9. Vanderbilt

I would say 9-3 likely but 10-2 is just a little more likely than before.

Looks better but it’s only week 1 teams improve. And it’s not always just about how good they are either it’s where the game falls on the schedule. Like South Carolina comes after Auburn and LSU and before UGA. And it’s on the road. Gonna be hard to get up for three straight games and then go there after LSU. So we might look like the better team but that’s a very losable game.

Georgia’s O.L. is as Billy Fucillo likes to say...

“HUGE!”

Pretty fair assessment that I generally agree with. The 9/14 matchup will be big for both UF and UK.

I was surprised watching that actual game how KY looks personnel wise. KY will miss that DE some but still have players that can get after the QB good and it looks like they will have 2 legit WRs this season and the QB looks to have improved passing the ball some.

10-3 or 11-2 is my call.

LSU’s Burrow’s is good and improved over LY. VERY tough game

Georgia...I FUC$JNG hate them. Their OL and Fromm will probably be the difference but, maybe Franks NA I’m dreaming.

FSU-C-K-S...That is all.

Missouri is a trap game. Franks is going to have to score 28-38 points as Kelly Bryant will get some.

Auburn will be a close tough one. Our pass rush will rattle Nix but, we gotta control his running.

ESPN's FPI that was updated after week 1 has us favored in all but the LSU and UGA game. Statistically we should roll 10-2 - if we look good in that scenario I'll take il.

Kentucky should do well this season. You guys will probably be favored in both your west conf games. The Florida game will be huge for you because it may be the difference in 9 wins vs 10.

I would normally agree with you but a few things:
1) USCjr was awful yesterday. They will certainly have to play much better and they have Muschamp
2) Take a look at USCjrs schedule.

USC’s schedule is brutal. Mizzou’s schedule OTOH is almost scandalously easy. Their SEC West opponents are Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Schedule difficulty starts with your own team's strength. I think Missou will struggle against that schedule.

Zero running game right now for UK and that's what killed us last year to break the streak. We couldn't stop Benny Snell. Toledo completely shut their running game down. TOLEDO.

Am I the only person who wasn't impressed with UGLY only scoring 30 points on Vandy last night? Only watched a few tidbits here and there as I was really watching Auburn, but they kept getting stopped by Vandy's defense. Of course Vandy couldn't do squat against them but they didn't put up a score in the 40's 50's or 70's like just about every other top 5 team did against a hapless foe. I've been saying that they weren't just going to reload from losing 5 starting receivers from last year. Not reload ALL 5 at any rate. Maybe my take away on the game from not having watched it is skewed? It WAS basically a home crowd for them from what I saw. Vandy needs to change that nonsense.

I was totally confused about the hype the SEC network gave Vandy. I guess the athletic program was riding heavily on their WCS baseball championship.

Well it was the only SEC vs SEC game of week 1 and they had to make a big deal out of it somehow. Pretty hard to do when it's one of the best 3 teams in the SEC against one of the worst 3 teams.

I will say Vandys pitcher Kumar Rocker is one bad dude. Looks just as mean as his old man Tracy Rocker.

A good QB will take advantage of our weak safeties unless there's major improvement there. If Franks continues with his pattern from last year and Game # of being inconsistent, we could lose 4-5 games. Don't think that will happen, but at this early point in the season, I really can't say for sure.

I would agree with the top 3, but I might flip Georgia and LSU. LSU blew out the dawgs last year and they brought back the most starters in the SEC. They have the speed to play with Bama.
This, like Chizik said on TV, LSU was most impressive, complete team on both sides of the ball yesterday. Yes, it was Ga So. but as we all know they are not a typical "cupcake" and have been solid for years, well before they beat us. LSU O played clean and dominant from the jump and LSU D shut down a triple option opponent to just 98 yards total offense. Burrow looked very experienced and comfortable in this new offense.....they hired a Saints coach to be passing game coordinator and Burrow threw 5 TD's in one half! Unheard of from an LSU offense! They are clicking.

They ran on Toledo some and while there is no Benny Snell they have 2 guys that can break off long runs if not contained. They may have a slight dropoff there without Snell but I think it won't be a lot.

Georgia dominated early and easily when their heads were in the game. Also some non-play affecting penalties brought back a couple of long receptions. I doubt receiver is an issue once they play us unfortunately.

Don't worry Franks will be collecting his Heisman hardware at the end of the season.
