I have listened to Kirby Smart interview today, Nick Saban interview, and Jimbo Fishers interview today. These three coaches said something in common about their recruiting classes. The players they recruited they had been recruiting for a long time, so the fact that covid came along changed some things, but the relationships had already been built. Nick Saban " We are not going to make a lot of promises to these kids, we want their mind on getting better to prepare them for the next level of their life". All three were about business, and trying to fill any voids that have been placed on their teams. This is the difference in our head coach, and these three guy's and it's not giving out bags of money. It's the time and effort they put into recruiting. and the staff they put together that also has that same mindset.
