We could be the Gal school up North. Free Shoes U. who came in a strong 28th with 4 - 4 star recruits and the rest 3 stars. But, they did get a one legged QB from U.C.F. Man they gave fallen in hard times.

I have a difficult time LOLing until I see something different on the defensive side of the ball.........including a DC change. It wasn't that long ago we were almost as bad.

A garbage coach like Butters Mcelwain's worst finish at UF was 21st, then improved just outside the top 10 the next two seasons.

Who was the last Junior college player we got back after they failed to get in as freshman? Just seems its really rare at UF since we require them to meet more standards than most schools do with transfers.

Don't know who the last was, but these two seem to come to mind in that area:
S Reggie 'freakin' Nelson
WR Dallas Baker, TD Maker
And both went on to have NFL careers.

There are prolly others that didn't jump into my memory....

Maybe it was Nelson. It looks like Baker actually did prep school so he was allowed in as a freshman partial-qualifier that didn't play in games the next year
