Ray, which convicted murderer cop

I left that out because I'm talking to you but I'll edit for accuracy.

I was more referring to the public at large, not you. People get blasted with, "you can't do this or you can't do that" and it's entirely understandable that they believe that they aren't allowed to commit those acts, regardless of circumstance.

I had a farmer yesterday who wanted me to shoot some stray dogs that were killing and injuring his livestock. The dogs weren't there when I arrived so I asked him, "why didn't you kill them?" He didn't think that he was allowed to.

It's actually sort of interesting...but also a bit frightening that we've sort of scared people away from protecting themselves and/or their property. I don't recommend shooting your neighbors dog for crapping on your lawn, however. That won't go as well for you.

I blame SCOTUS.

Think about how recently castle doctrine and no duty to retreat laws came into effect.

The population has been gradually infantilized and government dependent.

Plus they don't know about Town of Castle Rock v. Gonzales or they'd shit themselves.

So saying he was guilty of Murder 3 is defending him? 😂🤣😂

You are a moron.

And you are simply a lying POS...who now wants to rewrite the history of his jackass comments

  • Still under the belief that Murder 2 couldn't be possible without politics?

I've said all along that I believed Chauvin was guilty of negligence. But convicting him of Murder 2, based on Minnesota law??? That’s simply not possible sans politics.
  • Still under the belief that the Murder 2 charge was upheld per Minnesota statute?
  • Still ignoring the fact the jury found the medical experts who blamed the knee to the neck credible and the ones you choose to believe as not credible?
  • Still lying that I somehow "edited" your posts?

Here are my receipts...without your edits. I plainly stated SEVERAL times that he should be convicted of murder...at one point I even say Murder 2 based on recent Minnesota case law.

This is not a defense of Chauvin and anyone who says so is obviously a liar...looking at you Ray. And kalim, you're flirting that line.

So crying for years that Chauvin is being politically persecuted, overcharged, and denying the credibility of the scientific evidence ISN'T defending him?

Woohoo...Barney Fife admits (at times) that it was murder...mostly because he was wrong about the law all along
And now he's looking for a pat on the back for something that plainly obvious to the entire world?

Pitiful

Based on the knee, which was a felony assault, which caused death making it Murder 2?

Maybe. That usually means something like someone dies in the commission of a robbery but perhaps that's the interpretation.

The problem with that, imho (again, not a legal scholar) is that the knee itself wasn't proven to be the cause of death IIRC. My personal opinion is that it was certainly a contributing factor...but I don't recall that being proven in his case.

If I'm right, and that's a big IF, then the knee wouldn't have been a felony assault...rather a simple assault which isn't a felony in Minnesota.

Here's Barney NOT defending a murderer...

He's arguing for simple assault

Wrong.

The difference between Murder 1 or Murder 2 under the Minnesota law 609 is premeditation.

Which is why many people believe that Chauvin was guilty of Murder 1 and should have been sentenced to life

But of course those that claim they aren't defending have argued for lesser charges

If a guy commits murder and you question if he's even guilty of assault....
Yes you're defending him and his actions

More BS from Barney...the truth matters

https://lawandcrime.com/civil-right...e-floyds-murder-says-the-quiet-part-out-loud/

The lawyers said that Chauvin’s brief contains multiple misrepresentations.

“Notwithstanding the fact that Chauvin also placed his knee on Floyd’s neck, Chauvin’s assertion — and others like it — is flat out untrue,” the brief said. “As copious evidence proved, and as the jury found, restraining a person prone can cause positional asphyxia. Law enforcement has long known about positional asphyxia. Chauvin was specifically trained to avoid it. That is how George Floyd died. The truth matters.

As ridiculous as it sounds idiots like Barney put forward frivolous arguments that expose them for what they are...

Look at this justification for removing Chauvin's conviction

https://lawandcrime.com/civil-right...e-floyds-murder-says-the-quiet-part-out-loud/

the opening brief filed April 25 from Chauvin’s attorney William F. Mohrman of Mohrman, Kaardal & Erickson in Minneapolis. That brief argues that Chauvin “is a police officer statutorily authorized to commit ‘assaults’ to effect an arrest” under Minnesota state law.

“Because police officers are duty bound to ‘assault’ suspects resisting arrest, Minnesota’s assault statute becomes a strict liability statute for a police officer because the officer always ‘intends’ to physically touch the suspect,” the Chauvin’s brief reads.

We are well aware of positional axphxiation.

They still teach it in the academy.

Its still a departmental approved technique nationwide. The neck on the knee was still approved by his department until Chauvin's shenanigans.

He's an "ignorant racist" Ray, you think you're going to educate and change his mind? Once again I ask you, rhetorically, what the purpose of you being here at the Parking Lot is, online Klan rally that it is.

That makes you dumber than you think he is.

Best hit that ignore button Bama, you're wrasslin with a pig.

Look moron, you've read my posts....even the one's that you edited in a lame attempt to win an argument. If you still think I'm a fan of Chauvin's or that I didn't want him in jail or that I defended him, you're simply too stupid to debate.

If it hurts your feelings that we disagree on what he was convicted of, despite the fact that I'm somewhat soft on the murder 2 conviction, that's a YOU problem.

I'm completely fine with his conviction. I would NOT have been fine if he was acquitted. Some of what you read was me being concerned about him being overcharged and not getting convicted. YOU READ THAT TOO IN MY POSTS...assuming you're bright enough to comprehend what you read.

If you didn't comprehend that or don't believe it, ask @kalimgoodman or others on this board. I'm sure they recall.

Either way we've beaten this thing to death and you look stupid at the end. Get over it...you win some and you lose some.

Woohoo...Barney Fife admits (at times) that it was murder...

And this is a straight up lie. It was always murder...I debated which murder but it was always murder.

So why lie? Why do you always feel the need to lie? If you aren't lying then it's just general stupidity. Which is it Ray?

Is that what I was doing here...

My God you really are this stupid. It would still be murder you dolt. The debate was about the underlying charge which would define whether it was Murder 2 or Murder 3. But both are still Murder.

Again, why am I debating a moron?

You've argued for just about everything possible less than murder 1 which I've shown and just proves your grasping at straws and desire to find something less than what Chauvin was charged & convicted for

Barney's rationale?

Arguing for lesser charges & penalties for a convicted killer isn't defending him

You keep believing that nonsense Barney

Positional asphyxiation has nothing to do with a knee dipshit. It has to do with position. Go figure.

Yet another subject that I know about where you are entirely clueless.

What you admitted to was that you had no understanding of the law or the legal decision which upheld the conviction

It was only after @EvilWayz that you started to try and re-write the history of your claims

Makes sense.

Face down with your hands cuffed behind your back can cause positional asphyxiation. You're out of your depth. Surprise-Surprise.

Absolutely agree the knee contributed...AS I'VE SAID SEVERTIMES NOW. But the knee isn't what they're specifically referring to when they discuss positional asphyxiation.

You don't know what you're talking about and you don't even know what you don't know. Just stop.

That is where Aryan Nations, Texas Aryan Brotherhood, Unforgiven Skins, Shibonian Fourth Reich, Ku Klux Klan, and a few outlaw club folks hang out and pretend to be relevant.

It's an internet forum for Neo-Nazis and thus far it's prone to the same issues as IRL white supremacists.

Poor vetting practices. At one time there were as many federal agents infiltrating the Klan as actual members. Including a black police officer from Colorado.

Look it up on Wikipedia if you want but do not go there directly. You probably wouldn't lose your cert over it but you will end up on an FBI watch list and someone within the feds has been leaking the list to ACLU and SPLC.

At the very least he'd be poo flinging at the right people.

He's gone now. I actually think some of the retarded began to rub off on me.

I've been shot at 3 times in this job btw (more in my first out of college but that's another story). 2 out of 3 had multiple lightning bolt tattoos, 88's and of course swastikas.

I reckon I'd be as welcomed as you would be. Well...maybe more at first glance. 😂

Yea, I'm good. I've never seen those sites online and that's not by accident.

I have blondish brown hair and blue eyes...the last thing I need is a Google search or FBI tag with that sort of web history.

Plus there's plenty of drama to be had on boards like this with morons and racists of a different sort.
